How long does it take?

For a will which is by far the longest, it can take around 10 minutes to complete if you know what you wish to set out. We're guessing much less than the time it takes to get in to a lawyer's office!

Most of the questions are multiple choice which simplifies and expedites the process and there is always the option to save your progress and continue later on if you need to think about your answers.

Once submitted, the right lawyer is assigned, responds, and a will is usually turned around in less than 48 hours. Other services are dependent on the circumstances but we'll always start the file within one business day.

AGREEMENT CHECK PRE BUYING

Upload an agreement before you sign and one of our lawyers will complete a thorough check of the draft Agreement for Sale and Purchase to ensure it is sound and doesn’t contain any clauses that may unnecessarily disadvantage you.

PREPARATION OF AGREEMENT TO PURCHASE PRIVATELY

If you are wanting to purchase a property and you aren’t using a Real Estate Agent, simply add some details about the property and one of our lawyers will put together the Agreement for Sale and Purchase and upload it with signing instructions. Once it signed you can come back and we will complete the purchase for you.

PRE AUCTION PURCHASE REVIEW

Prior to an auction, we can check over all the legal information about the property; the Title, the council LIM, and the Agreement to buy the property. We will explain to you what the outcome is in plain language so you can be sure everything is in order from a legal perspective.

BUYING A PROPERTY

Once you have an agreement to buy signed, answer a few easy questions, let us know how we can obtain a copy of the Agreement to buy the property and we will take it from there. PRE SALE AGREEMENT CHECK

Refinance

Move your mortgage from one bank to another

Refinancing is when you switch from one bank to another. This is usually done when a bank offers you better terms than your existing bank. LAWBAR are experts in completing refinances and our simple portal makes it easy to switch. Once submitted, we will request a release of your existing mortgage, prepare the new mortgage paperwork for signing and arrange with you for it to be signed. The speed at which the change of bank can take place depends entirely on your availability to sign the mortgage paperwork.
